Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has lodged a complaint against Daniel Courtemanche, the 68-year-old owner and operator of the Ugly RV Park in Pinconning. The complaint, filed in the 30th Judicial Circuit Court in Ingham County, alleges that Courtemanche violated state laws by operating a campground without a preconstruction permit and license. He is also accused of installing and using non-compliant wastewater lagoons and creating a public nuisance.

Barry Cadden, the former owner of New England Compounding Center (NECC) in Framingham, Massachusetts, has been sentenced to 10-15 years' incarceration for his role in the deadly 2012 nationwide fungal meningitis outbreak. The sentencing was announced by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel in the 44th Circuit Court in Livingston County. Cadden had previously pled no contest to 11 counts of involuntary manslaughter in March.
