As the holiday season nears, the Michigan Lottery has launched four new instant games with festive themes, offering a range of cash prizes to players across the state.

The lineup includes Holiday Colors, a $1 ticket with five different designs and total available prizes of $5.8 million. Holiday Doubler tickets are priced at $2 and offer prizes up to $10,000, with $9.9 million in total prizes. The NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION game is being offered for the first time as a licensed holiday-themed ticket at $5 per play, featuring a top prize of $300,000 and overall cash prizes totaling $18.5 million. Rounding out the selection is 25 Days of Winning, a $10 ticket that gives players a chance at up to $500,000 from a prize pool of $25 million.

“Holiday instant game tickets make great gifts for the adults on your Christmas list! I am especially excited for the NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATIONgame which is the first-ever licensed game offered by the Lottery during the holidays,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “Players wait all year for holiday-themed games, and these tickets will look great under a tree or in a stocking this season!”

Retailers selling these tickets can also benefit from more than $8 million in commissions tied to sales of these holiday instant games.

Lottery officials remind participants that all players must be at least 18 years old and caution against giving lottery tickets as gifts to minors. Last year, instant games generated nearly $1.8 billion in winnings for Michigan Lottery players statewide.
