The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced that westbound I-94 under County Road 681, between Hartford and Lawrence in Van Buren County, will undergo repaving starting Sunday, November 2, 2025. The project is expected to be completed by Saturday, November 8, 2025.
During this period, one lane of westbound I-94 will be closed at the work site to allow for construction activities. The closure is part of MDOT's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve highway infrastructure in the region.
Local communities most affected by the closure include Lawrence and Hartford. Motorists traveling through this section are advised to expect delays and plan their routes accordingly.
