The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $800 million for tonight’s drawing, with a cash option of $371.7 million. If claimed, this would be the largest Mega Millions prize awarded in 2025 and the ninth highest in the game’s history.
Tonight marks the 37th drawing since the last jackpot was won on June 27, when a single ticket purchased in Virginia secured a $348 million prize. Since July 1, Michigan Lottery players have collectively won over $8.5 million in prizes during this current jackpot run.
The most recent Mega Millions jackpot win in Michigan occurred in January 2021, when an Oakland County lottery club took home a record-setting $1.05 billion prize—the largest ever awarded to a Michigan player.
Tickets for tonight’s drawing are available at retailers statewide until 10:45 p.m., as well as online at MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $5 and includes a multiplier feature that can increase non-jackpot winnings up to tenfold, with a maximum payout of $10 million. Mega Millions tickets are offered in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
