Michigan Lottery players have a chance to win a $754 million Mega Millions jackpot in tonight’s drawing. The cash option for the prize is $352.8 million.
If won, this would be the largest Mega Millions jackpot awarded this year and the ninth largest in the game’s history. The current run marks the 36th drawing since June 27, when a ticket purchased in Virginia claimed a $348 million prize.
Since July 1, Michigan Lottery participants have collected over $8.1 million in winnings during this jackpot cycle.
A win tonight would also mark the first time a Mega Millions jackpot has been won on Halloween. Holiday wins are not new for Michigan Lottery players; on January 1, 2024, The Breakfast Club lottery club secured an $842.4 million Powerball jackpot.
The last time Michigan saw a Mega Millions jackpot winner was in January 2021, when an Oakland County lottery club took home $1.05 billion—the state’s largest lottery prize to date.
Tickets are available at retailers statewide until 10:45 p.m., and online purchases can be made at MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $5 and includes a multiplier that can increase non-jackpot prizes up to ten times, with a maximum of $10 million. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states as well as Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
