Dr. Shondra Marshall, the Director of the Center for Racial and Social Justice, is set to deliver the keynote address at an event hosted by MSU Medical Colleges in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The event is scheduled for January 23, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and will be held at Conrad Hall Auditorium with an option for online attendance.
Dr. Marshall holds both a master's degree in Teaching and Curriculum with a Specialization in Literacy and Language Instruction and a bachelor's degree in Retail Management with a cognate in Business from Michigan State University. Her work at MPHI focuses on advancing equity and social justice for underrepresented communities.
The title of her talk is “There’s Still Hope: Addressing Health Disparities and Strengthening Well-Being in Our Communities.”
