MPHI Chief Financial Officer Jana Dean has been reappointed to the Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC) by Governor Whitmer. Her new term will extend from October 10, 2024, until July 22, 2028. The ECIC is dedicated to promoting the success of children by emphasizing early childhood development from prenatal stages to age five.
Dean has been a member of the ECIC's executive committee since 2020. Since its establishment in 2005, the organization has invested over $225 million into Michigan communities and positively influenced the lives of 176,043 children. The ECIC focuses on four strategic goals to fulfill its mission.
Throughout her career, Jana Dean has shown a commitment to serving Michigan communities. Before her role as CFO at MPHI, she was the Finance and Operations Internal Audit Manager at Michigan State University. Dean holds both a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
