Dr. Renée Branch Canady, CEO of the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI), has recently gained media attention for her book "Room at the Table," which addresses health equity, justice, and leadership. The book was featured in an article by Lansing City Pulse titled “A memoir and guide to medical issues in DEI era.”

According to the article, "Room at the Table" delves into diversity, equity, and inclusion topics. Dr. Canady guides readers through these complex subjects by sharing personal experiences that aim to foster a connection and understanding of health equity.

“‘Room at the Table’ teaches you the principles of equity so that you can better understand yourself, understand others and make a lasting difference in this world,” stated Dr. Canady.
