The Powerball jackpot for tonight's drawing has risen to $1.4 billion, with a cash option of $634.3 million available to the winner.

“Michigan Lottery players have a shot at becoming a billionaire tonight with a $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot for grabs, which is the fourth largest Powerball jackpot in history,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “Players can purchase Powerball tickets in store and online until 9:45 p.m. tonight. Good luck to everyone playing!”

If claimed, this would be the fourth largest prize ever awarded in Powerball history and ranks as the sixth largest among all U.S. lottery jackpots. The current run marks the 41st drawing since May 31, when a single ticket sold in California won $204.5 million.

Since June 2, Michigan Lottery participants have collected over $9 million in winnings from this ongoing jackpot cycle, including three prizes of $1 million each.

The last time Michigan produced a Powerball jackpot winner was on January 1, 2024, when a Mid-Michigan lottery club secured an $842.4 million prize with a ticket bought in Grand Blanc—the highest Powerball win recorded in the state.

Tickets for tonight’s draw are available at retailers statewide and online at MichiganLottery.com until 9:45 p.m. Each play costs $2, with additional options such as “Power Play” for an extra dollar—multiplying non-jackpot prizes up to ten times—and Double Play for another dollar per play, offering another chance to win up to $10 million.

Drawings occur Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m., viewable live online at http://www.powerball.com. Powerball tickets are offered across 45 states along with Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
