The inaugural CAR-Mazing Race took place on October 17, bringing together eight teams in a competition for the top prize. The team "Pretty In Pink," consisting of Angela Bono, Anne Ficeli, Katie Lovley, and Courtney Mulica, emerged victorious. The event was organized by Kirt Ojala and Carolyn Boji.

Several teams participated in the race, including A-Team with Tyler Schewe, Thomas Vredevelt, and Murphy Wynsma; Boss Lady and the Boys featuring Mary Anne Wisinski Rosely, Jason Makowski, Paul Oosterbaan, and Noah Rachor; Dazed and Confused composed of Michael Cagen, Deanna Dargis, Chip Hurley, and Kirstyn Monroe; DMX represented by Eric Finnigan, Jon Geenen, Max Grover, Trevor Petroelji with photographer Kyle Leonard; Grootemakuipzel including Kyle Grooters, Teresa Datema, Ashlie Kuiper, and Jordan Wenzel; Mario Bros. with Mario Castillo, Jake Becker, Josh Pulsifer and Jeff Tucker; Vision-aires featuring Tim Engen, Rick Hapner, Kara Heyboer and Erin Peterson.
