House Democrats are redirecting their television advertising funds away from certain districts, focusing instead on other competitive races. The latest data from AdImpact indicates that the reserved TV ad time for Rep. Jaime Churches (D-Wyandotte) and Rep. Reggie Miller (D-Belleville) has been reduced from over $4 million to $1.5 million each.

The party is now concentrating its resources on Janise O’Neil Robinson in the 28th House District, reserving $3 million in ad time for her campaign. Additionally, Democrats have allocated $2.78 million to support Rep. Nate Shannon (D-Sterling Heights) and $2.45 million for Rep. Jim Haadsma (D-Battle Creek). Both of these districts had previously seen victories by former President Donald Trump.

Democrats have committed more than $1 million each to ten races, with four of these efforts being offensive strategies. Apart from Robinson, significant funds are reserved for Shadia Martini in the 54th against Rep. Donni Steele (R-Lake Orion), Dan Mahoney in the 46th against Rep. Kathy Schmaltz (R-Jackson), and Trevis Harrold in the 55th against Rep. Mark Tisdel (R-Rochester Hills).

On the Republican side, there is no spending on Detroit network TV; instead, they focus on media markets where their investment may yield better results with likely voters of their candidates. Republicans have invested approximately $500,000 each in various campaigns across different districts, including support for Andy Shaver against Rep. Angela Witwer (D-Lansing) and Steve Frisbie against Haadsma.

The largest Republican expenditure is in the Traverse City media market, where they spent $600,000 supporting Lisa Trombley.

According to AdImpact's report on combined ad time reserved and purchased between August 1 and November 5:

- In the 28th House District: Total spending reached $3,155,978 with a strong backing for Robinson.

- The 44th House District saw a total of $2,932,932 focused primarily on supporting Haadsma.

- In the 58th House District: A total of $2,930,079 was spent largely pro-Shannon.

- The 46th House District had expenditures totaling $2,820,896 mainly supporting Mahoney.

These figures reflect a strategic shift by both parties as they aim to secure victories in key districts.
