The Michigan Homeowner Assistance Fund (MIHAF) was established to help keep Michigan residents in their homes by providing financial assistance to eliminate or reduce past due mortgage payments associated with homeownership, including property tax, condominium association dues, and/or housing utility payments.
As of September 29, 2022:
The total number of delinquent taxpayers who have had property taxes paid by MIHAF is: 845
The total number of parcels withheld from 2022 foreclosure due to MIHAF is: 1,207
The total amount of delinquent property taxes paid by MIHAF is: $3,487,784.62
