After a full report of evaluation, The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) has continued full accreditation of the Baker College of Muskegon Veterinary Technology program.

Accreditation by the AVMA Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities™ (CVTEA) represents the highest standard of achievement for veterinary medical education in the United States.

Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review.

Veterinary Technology students at Baker College take classes led by practicing veterinary professionals employing the latest techniques and tools in use today.

With a combination of classroom time, work in high-tech labs, and real work experience, students learn the fundamentals of veterinary care, and develop a full range of nursing and lab skills.

Graduation from an institute accredited by the AVMA CVTEA institution is a prerequisite for licensure or certification for professional practice through the majority of state licensing boards and credentialing agencies to meet the educational prerequisites.
