Michigan Lottery players have the chance to compete for a $714 million Mega Millions jackpot in tonight’s drawing. The cash option for the prize is $334.1 million.
If someone wins, it would be the largest Mega Millions jackpot awarded this year and rank as the ninth largest in the game’s history. This will be the 35th consecutive drawing since June 27, when a ticket purchased in Virginia claimed a $348 million prize.
Since July 1, Michigan players have won over $7.7 million in various prizes during this ongoing jackpot run.
The last time a Michigan player won the Mega Millions jackpot was in January 2021, when an Oakland County lottery club took home $1.05 billion, marking it as Michigan’s largest-ever lottery win.
Tickets for tonight's draw are available at retailers across Michigan until 10:45 p.m., and can also be bought online at MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $5 and includes a multiplier feature that can increase non-jackpot winnings up to tenfold, with a maximum of $10 million per prize. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
