On a recent episode of the Small Business Association of Michigan's weekly podcast, Michael Rogers spoke with Zack Bishop, president of 4 Flutes Machining. The company was recently recognized as one of the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch for 2025. Specializing in components for aerospace, defense, and space industries, 4 Flutes Machining is noted for its modern approach to manufacturing.

Bishop emphasized the company's strategic vision that focuses on diversification. This approach has led to significant growth, with much of their business now coming from out-of-state customers on the coasts. "There’s a lot of opportunity out there," Bishop said. "It’s harder to get into markets than I think everyone is aware of but it’s certainly brought us an enormous amount of success getting our foot in the door."

Bishop expressed optimism about Michigan-based manufacturing, citing consistent growth and new opportunities without any slowdowns or layoffs.
