Northern Michigan University's athletic teams have a busy schedule from February 24 to March 2, featuring multiple matchups in basketball, hockey, and track and field. The women's and men's basketball teams are set to face Roosevelt University on Monday. In their last encounter, the women secured a narrow victory with a score of 60-56, while the men won decisively at 77-55.

On Thursday, both basketball teams will compete against Parkside. Previously, the women's team emerged victorious with a close score of 72-67 thanks to Jacy Weisbrod's standout performance. The men's team also managed a win at 73-62 after trailing early in the second half.

Friday sees NMU's hockey team take on Ferris State. Earlier this season, Ferris State defeated NMU in both matches despite goals from Matthew Romer and Aidyn Hutchinson.

The weekend continues with the women's track and field team participating in the GLIAC Indoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday. Also on Saturday, both basketball teams play against Purdue Northwest. The women's team previously defeated PNW by a significant margin of 70-48, while the men's team held their opponents to just 54 points in a previous matchup.

The week concludes with another hockey game against Ferris State on Saturday evening.
