Michael Rogers recently hosted Ryan Dost and Adam McCauley, owners of Sandlot Sports, on the SBAM Weekly Podcast. Sandlot Sports is recognized for its expertise in apparel decorating and is a VIP member of the Small Business Association of Michigan. The company was included in this year's Michigan 50 Companies to Watch list.

Dost and McCauley discussed their future goals, which include doubling their revenue within five years by focusing on outside sales and automation. In addition to business growth, Sandlot Sports is committed to community service through their non-profit organization, Sandlot Shares. This initiative supports local families and schools.

"We’ve adopted a family in Bay City, a family in Saginaw, and we’re helping out one of the shelters in Midland, collecting donations from staff and customers," Dost shared. "In another project we have trees up in each store with ornaments that say this is what that family is requesting, and I think we’re actually getting ready to deliver that stuff this week."

The Small Business Association of Michigan's weekly podcast offers insights from experts on entrepreneurial success. Listeners can subscribe via iTunes for new episodes each week or visit SBAM’s Media Hub for past episodes.
