Human Rights Commission to Host a “Coming Home” Coffee & Conversation Session on Sunday, Aug. 14

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Human Rights Commission will be hosting its next Coffee & Conversation session entitled “Coming Home” on Sunday, Aug. 14 from 2-4 p.m. at downtown East Lansing’s Foster Coffee Company, 196 Albert Ave. 

All community members are invited to be a part of this conversation, which will focus on supporting individuals who were formerly incarcerated and welcoming these returning citizens back to the community.

The East Lansing Human Rights Commission’s Coffee & Conversation series serves as a forum for community discussions on topics of diversity and inclusion. Additional sessions will be announced as they are scheduled.
