Plymouth-Canton Community Schools issued the following announcement on Feb 24.
Headlines:
- On Friday, February 25 at 4 p.m. that 2022-23 Community Budget Survey will close. This is an annual form in which the Board of Education is seeking community input on programs and activities that would reduce cost, increase revenue, increase enrollment, or identify areas of investment that could improve service for consideration in the annual General Fund budget planning process. Please complete this form by Friday, February 25 at 4 p.m.
- P-CCS will launch the application for limited School of Choice program for the 2022-23 school year on Friday, February 25 at 12 a.m.
- This policy will allow for a minimum of one seat for kindergarten through 10th grade with a maximum of 250 seats district wide.
- The application will be available on the district website starting this Friday.
- The application window will close on March 23.
- An application must be completed for the siblings of current P-CCS School of Choice students.
- The award-winning P-CEP Lightning Robotics program took a break from building the championship-level robots and teamed up to lead a donation drive to benefit local First Step shelters.
- The drive collected over 1,000 items ranging from laundry detergent to clothes and household items.
- This will help Wayne County First Step programs get needed supplies to individuals and families who are victims of domestic or sexual violence.
