Announcing the Fall 2019 Book of the Semester: Scars Across Humanity: Understanding and Overcoming Violence Against Women, by Elaine Storkey (Downers Grove, IL: IVP Academic, 2018) focuses on injustices and violence against women and girls throughout the world. This book received the Christianity Today 2019 Book of the Year Award in the area of Politics and Public Life.
