Jewell Jones's campaign pays $1,000 to United Deacon Council

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Jewell Jones, Jewell Jones for State Representation, paid $1,000 to United Deacon Council on August 20.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'donation'.

The committee has spent about $5,544 total since the beginning of the year, 18 percent of which has gone to United Deacon Council.
