Anne Minard, a resident of Bath Township, pleaded guilty to two felony charges in the 30th Circuit Court in Ingham County. The plea was entered before Judge James Jamo as part of an agreement announced by Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

Minard, 38, was charged in December 2024 with several felonies related to the alleged misappropriation of funds from three non-profit organizations and two political action committees connected to former Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield. According to the Michigan Attorney General's office, she admitted guilt for embezzling between $1,000 and $20,000 from the Peninsula Fund and for filing a false tax return.

As part of her plea agreement, Minard has agreed to provide truthful testimony in future hearings. She is also required to pay full restitution for amounts owed to the Michigan Department of Treasury.

Minard’s sentencing is scheduled for December 3 in the same court.
