Northern Michigan women's wrestling announces schedule under new head coach

Under the leadership of first-year head coach Adam Wilson, the Northern Michigan women's wrestling team has announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season. This season marks their debut as an associate member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).

The Wildcats will kick off their season on November 1 at the Pointer Open hosted by UW-Stevens Point. They will then travel to Michigan's Lower Peninsula for the Adrian Duals on November 8, followed by a tournament-style event, the Adrian Open, on November 9.

On November 22, they return to Wisconsin for the 8 Women Battle in Eau Claire. December begins with a trip to Quincy, Illinois, for their first Conference Duals on December 7 and continues with participation in the North Central Invitational in Naperville on December 14.

Their only home event of the year, the Northern Duals, is scheduled for December 19. The new year starts with a visit to Tiffin, Ohio, for the Tiffin Duals on January 10. The following weekend they will compete in Mount Vernon, Iowa, at the Mike Duroe Invitational.

January concludes with Conference Duals hosted by Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan on January 24 and duals back in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Regionals are set to begin February 21 and National Championships will take place March 6-7 in Coralville, Iowa.
