Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has announced an investigation into Twin Flames Universe (TFU), a largely online organization run by Jeff and Shaleia Divine in Leelanau County, Michigan. The group gained attention through documentaries.
Nessel stated, "Today, my office executed multiple search warrants upon individuals atop the Twin Flames Universe organization and its associated properties, under the authority of a judge finding probable cause that crimes have been committed by TFU and their leadership." She encouraged anyone with information about potential criminal conduct involving TFU or its members to contact her office anonymously.
The investigation involved Special Agents from the Department of Attorney General, the U.S. Department of Labor – Office of Inspector General, and law enforcement officers from Michigan State Police, Leelanau County Sheriff's Office, and Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office. They executed search warrants as part of the ongoing inquiry and are seeking public assistance.
Those with information about TFU that could assist the Attorney General's investigation are asked to email the investigative team at AG-TFUinfo@michigan.gov or visit the online TFU tip form at mi.gov/agtfu. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
The department reminds that a criminal charge is merely an allegation, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Additionally, booking photos will not be provided.
