Today, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel released a statement regarding the death of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Michael Cavanagh.
“Justice Cavanagh’s decades of service on the Michigan Supreme Court reflected what it truly means to be a public servant: someone who gave so much of himself to this state, with devotion to the rule of law and the people of Michigan," Nessel stated. "My heart goes out to Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh, the entire Cavanagh family, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.”
