The Michigan Lottery has partnered with the Detroit Tigers to offer residents a chance to win cash prizes in celebration of the new baseball season. Starting April 1, Michiganders can engage with various Detroit Tigers-themed lottery games available at multiple venues, including retail and club locations, online platforms, and certain non-profit organizations.
The new offerings include a $5 Instant Game with over $28.5 million in prizes, featuring top prizes of $500,000. A $1 Pull Tabs Game is also available with $2.1 million in prizes and top prizes of $6,000. Online, players can purchase instant game tickets starting at 20 cents, with top prizes reaching up to $250,000. Non-profit organizations can participate by selling the $1 Charity Pull Tabs ticket, which features three top prizes of $300 per box, generating $360 per box for their organizations.
“With the Detroit Tigers coming off an incredible Postseason run, I’m even more excited for this baseball season in the Motor City,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “To add to the excitement, fans throughout the state will have a chance to win big prizes on a Tigers-themed instant game, online digital game, Pull Tabs game, and Charitable Pull Tabs ticket!”
The introduction of these games marks the first time in a decade that a Michigan Lottery game features the Detroit Tigers. The last time was in April 2015, when a $1 Pull Tabs game launched with top prizes of $5,000.
Tickets for the Detroit Tigers-themed Instant Game and Pull Tabs Game are available at retailers statewide. The Charity Game Pull Tab is exclusively available through non-profits, while the online instant game can be accessed via MichiganLottery.com and the Michigan Lottery mobile app.
