The SVSU Women's Spring Invitational golf tournament in Georgetown, Kentucky, was canceled due to adverse weather conditions. The event was halted after teams completed between 11 and 16 holes of the first round. Tournament staff decided to call off the remainder of the competition on Sunday morning, prompting participants to leave earlier than planned.

At the time of cancellation, Northern Michigan University's team was tied for sixth place out of thirteen teams with a score of +34. Tiffin University led the tournament at +13, followed by Davenport University at +21 and Purdue Northwest at +24.

All members of the NMU Wildcats completed 13 holes before play was suspended. Abbie Pietila and Maggie Pietila were leading their team with scores of +7 each. Hailey Bolander and Maddy Martens followed closely with scores of +10. Olivia Brill scored +17, while individual competitors Gabriella Moreau and Abby Luke recorded scores of +13 and +17, respectively.

Looking ahead, NMU will participate in the Flyer Spring Invite at Cantigny Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois, from March 31 to April 1.
