Michigan Lottery players are being encouraged to verify their tickets for a chance at a $250,000 Powerball prize. The ticket in question was purchased on March 11, 2024, at the Kroger store on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills. This winning ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball: 01-03-07-16-66 PB: 05, initially earning a $50,000 prize that was increased to $250,000 due to the Power Play option.

Winners must contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to arrange an appointment for prize collection. The claim must be made at the Lottery's headquarters in Lansing before the deadline of March 11 at 4:45 p.m.

Unclaimed prizes are redirected to Michigan's state School Aid Fund after expiration. Powerball tickets have a validity period of one year from their drawing date.

Powerball tickets are available for purchase statewide for $2 each or online via MichiganLottery.com. Players can opt for a "Power Play" which increases non-jackpot prizes by up to ten times, capping at $2 million, for an additional dollar per play. The Double Play feature provides another chance to win up to $10 million nightly for an extra dollar.

The Powerball draw occurs thrice weekly—Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday—at 10:59 p.m., with live viewing accessible online. Tickets are distributed across 45 states along with Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
