The NMU men's and women's nordic ski team is set to participate in the US Cross Country Ski Championships in Anchorage, Alaska. The event will feature top skiers from across the nation competing for national titles and chances to represent the United States on elite international teams. Co-hosted by the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) and Anchorage Parks and Recreation, this championship is a key part of the U.S. racing series.

The championships will be held at Kincaid Park and include four events: a 10km interval start freestyle on January 2, a 1.4km classic sprint on January 4, a 20km & U20 10km classic mass start on January 5, and a 1.4km freestyle sprint on January 7.

The initial event, the 10km freestyle, serves as the season's first Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) NCAA qualification race. It is also the sole NCAA qualifier for CCSA skiers at this national championship. NMU aims to compete for both the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Collegiate Cup and CCSA team standings.
