Stiles sets new record as NMU wraps up Calvin Invite

The NMU men's swim and dive team concluded their participation in the Calvin Invite on Saturday, achieving a third-place finish among five teams. The team accumulated 1,620 points, following Calvin with 1,765 points and GVSU leading with 2,357 points.

The Wildcats set a new team record, achieved six NCAA provisional marks, secured one first-place finish, and had four podium finishes. Tobie Stiles earned gold and broke his own team record in the six-dive event from last season's 1-meter diving competition. He posted a total score of 498.80 and a six-dive score of 317.95.

Javier Pena Reyes also claimed gold in the 200 fly with an NCAA provisional time of 1:49.73.
