The Northern Michigan University (NMU) women's soccer team has announced its schedule for upcoming spring and summer camps. The camps are designed to provide participants with technical and tactical knowledge of soccer, along with opportunities to play games and experience NMU's athletic facilities.
The 2024 Women's Soccer Spring Elite ID Camp will take place on April 27, 2024. This camp is open to high school girls and includes two training sessions. Participants will be coached by the NMU staff at the Superior Dome turf field. The registration fee is $105.
The Summer Residential ID Camp will be held from July 28 through July 31, targeting girls in eighth grade and above. This camp offers a residential option, allowing athletes to stay in dorms while attending soccer sessions. The cost is $350 for resident campers and $225 for commuter campers.
Additionally, the NMU Wildcat Spring Soccer School is scheduled from May 6 to May 9 for grades K-12, both girls and boys. A similar program, the NMU Wildcat Summer Soccer School, will run from July 15-18 and July 22-25.
NMU is also organizing two tournaments this summer: a 6v6 Co-Ed Adult Tournament on July 13-14 and a 3v3 Youth Tournament on the same dates. These events will take place at the Wright Street Soccer Fields.
Participants interested in any of these programs can find registration details through NMU's channels or by contacting Chance Vang via email.
