The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee has announced the qualifiers for the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. Among those selected are 19 Wildcats, including nine women.
The female athletes representing the team include Becca Burrows, Camilla Carbone, Kalina Ceglinski, Zoe DeKievit, Meritxell Font Cantarero, Abbie Harned, Lauren Plockmeyer, Carlotta Santi, and Anika Wright.
Head coach Heidi Voigt expressed her enthusiasm about the selections: "We are so excited about our selections for the NCAA Swim and Dive championships. The women have 5 individuals, 3 divers heading to the pre-qualification, and 3 relays, and the men have qualified the most individuals and relays since they were reinstated in 2016. We have a great lineup, and it is going to be a fun week in Ohio!"
The championships will take place from March 12 to March 16 at the SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio. Events will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
