NMU women's golf team set for GLIAC Championships at Gull Lake View

The Northern Michigan University Women's Golf team is preparing for the upcoming Women's GLIAC Championships. The event will take place at Stonehedge North, one of the courses at Gull Lake View Golf Resort in Augusta, Michigan. The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 19, and conclude on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

The resort features six sets of nine holes, each offering unique challenges. Stonehedge North is known for its forested terrain and significant elevation changes. The course includes six par 3's, six par 4's, and six par 5's.

In their last outing, the Wildcats claimed victory at the Lewis Flyer Spring Invite. They outperformed six other teams with a score of 652 (320, 332), finishing ahead of the Quincy Hawks by six strokes. Maya Hunter led the team with her standout performance, scoring rounds of 75 and 74 over two days.
