The Northern Michigan cross country team is set to compete in the Midwest Regional Championship in Evansville, Indiana, on Saturday, November 4th. The event will take place at 11 a.m. ET at the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course and is hosted by the GLVC.

This marks the Wildcats' 26th consecutive appearance at the regional championships. They have consistently finished within the top-13 for 11 straight seasons and aim to continue this trend.

The top three teams and top two individuals not on a qualifying team will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships. Additionally, 10 at-large teams and eight at-large individuals will also advance. The Wildcats last qualified for the national championships as a team in 2017. An announcement regarding qualifications will be made on Monday at 5 p.m.
