As the 2024 Election Day approaches, Common Cause Michigan is urging voters to utilize the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline for assistance. The organization aims to ensure that every vote counts by providing help through a variety of hotline numbers available in multiple languages.
The hotline numbers are accessible for calls or texts in English at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683), Spanish at 888-VE-Y-VOTA (888-839-8682), Asian languages at 888-API-VOTE (888-274-8683), and Arabic at 844-YALLA-US (844-925-5287).
Common Cause Michigan participates in a significant nonpartisan election assistance program designed to aid voters with questions or challenges they may face while voting. Voters can contact the toll-free hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE, staffed by trained nonpartisan volunteers ready to assist with issues such as registration and locating polling places.
Early voting concludes on Sunday, November 3. All absentee ballots from non-military and overseas voters must be submitted by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
Quentin Turner, Executive Director of Common Cause Michigan, emphasized the importance of voting: “Your vote is your voice and there is too much on the ballot this year to remain silent. If you have any questions, concerns or problems voting anywhere in Michigan, call or text 866-OUR-VOTE to receive nonpartisan assistance. Make sure your voice is heard.”
