Northern Tail Dog Park Reopening | City of East Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing has announced that the Northern Tail Dog Park will reopen to the public for the 2023 spring, summer and fall seasons on Monday, April 3.

The Northern Tail Dog Park is located at 6400 Abbot Road, adjacent to the East Lansing Softball Complex and East Lansing Family Aquatic Center. The dog park contains two and a half acres of fenced-in parkland for dogs to run and play off-leash. Another 5,625 square feet of fenced-in space at the dog park is reserved for dogs under 22 pounds to play separately. 

There is no charge for community members to access the dog park. Daily hours at the dog park are from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
