Here are highlights of what happened at the Nov. 29, 2022 meeting of the Jackson City Council:

The council also approved a preliminary plan to use local hotels for immediate housing needs.
-Two proclamations were presented from Mayor Daniel Mahoney to honor Sara Tackett, the retiring Director of the Jackson District Library, and Native American Heritage Month.
-The City Council approved improvement projects for the ongoing Loomis Park construction and an expansion of the Ella Sharp Park Golf Course Club House.
