Kent County Sheriff's Office recently issued the following announcement.
Recently, the #KCSOFamily held our annual Shop with a Sheriff (SWAS) event at four different Meijer stores - Cedar Springs, Plainfield Township, Cascade Township, and Gaines Township.
SWAS promotes positive interactions between law enforcement and families in our community by having uniformed officers shop with and assist pre-selected children with purchasing essential items like jackets, gloves, boots, and toys for themselves or gifts for family members. We are happy to assist our community during this special time of year.
