March 16: Congressional Record publishes “RECESS UNTIL 10:30 A.M. TOMORROW” in the Senate section

Politics 5 edited

Volume 167, No. 49, covering the 1st Session of the 117th Congress (2021 - 2022), was published by the Congressional Record.

The Congressional Record is a unique source of public documentation. It started in 1873, documenting nearly all the major and minor policies being discussed and debated.

“RECESS UNTIL 10:30 A.M. TOMORROW” mentioning Gary C. Peters was published in the Senate section on page S1575 on March 16.

Of the 100 senators in 117th Congress, 24 percent were women, and 76 percent were men, according to the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress.

Senators' salaries are historically higher than the median US income.

The publication is reproduced in full below:

RECESS UNTIL 10:30 A.M. TOMORROW

Mr. PETERS. Mr. President, if there is no further business to come before the Senate, I ask unanimous consent that it recess under the previous order.

There being no objection, the Senate, at 5:53 p.m., recessed until Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at 10:30 a.m.
