Bay College issued the following announcement.
Bay College West Campus and Northern Initiatives - MMTC are set to host a two-day, Negotiation Skills training on Tuesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 13 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM CST. Participants will learn how to conduct effective negotiations and the importance of forging strong, dynamic, long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and coworkers. This seminar covers how to use negotiation personas through firsthand experience, interactive discussions, and mock negotiating sessions. This program is fast-paced and fun, and provides the experience needed to succeed in business and in life. The cost of the course is $425.00 and a minimum of six individuals must be met by July 28 in order to move forward with the training.
Cedric Calhoun of Eclipse Business Strategies will lead this training. Calhoun offers over 20 years of association management experience and is the go-to expert for financial strategies around program growth and assessment, as well as providing consulting services ranging from credentialing and product management to organizational change and planning.
This training is set to take place in person at Bay College West Campus, but will closely follow the health and safety requirements set by MIOSHA and the Governor’s office. Anyone coming on campus will be expected to adhere to those protocols. While the college is set to run this training face-to-face, it will shift to a virtual format if stay at home orders are reinstated in the state of Michigan.
