Jim Ellison's campaign pays $1,500 to Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Jim Ellison, Jim Ellison for State Representation, paid $1,500 to Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce on May 2.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'conference registration'.

The committee has spent about $4,280 total since the beginning of the year, 35 percent of which has gone to Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.
