Betty Jean Alexander's campaign pays $70 to Jimmy John's

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Betty Jean Alexander, the Committee to Elect Betty Alexander, paid $70 to Jimmy John's on June 20.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'food'.

The committee has spent about $1,131 total since the beginning of the year, 6.2 percent of which has gone to Jimmy John's.
