The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Stephanie Chang, Stephanie Chang for Senate, paid $5,000 to Michigan Senate Democratic Fund on July 18.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'contribution'.

The committee has spent about $15,335 total since the beginning of the year, 81.5 percent of which has gone to Michigan Senate Democratic Fund.
