The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced plans to conduct routine bridge inspections in Isabella and Shiawassee counties later this month.
According to MDOT, the inspections will affect several bridges. On October 20, crews will inspect the M-52 bridge over the Maple River in Shiawassee County. The following day, October 21, both the northbound and southbound US-127 bridges over the Chippewa River in Isabella County will be inspected.
All inspections are scheduled to occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
