A $643 million Powerball jackpot is available in tonight’s drawing, with a cash option of $290.6 million. If claimed, this would be the largest Powerball prize awarded in 2025 and the fifth time the jackpot has been won this year. The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was on May 31, when a ticket purchased in California secured a $204.5 million prize.
Michigan saw its most recent Powerball win in January 2024, when a lottery club from Mid-Michigan claimed an $842.4 million jackpot—the largest Powerball prize ever won in the state.
Tickets for tonight’s drawing are being sold at lottery retailers statewide until 9:45 p.m., and are also available online at MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $2, with options to add “Power Play” for an extra $1 to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to 10 times (to a maximum of $2 million), or Double Play for another $1 per play, which gives players another chance to win up to $10 million.
Drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., and can be watched live online at http://www.powerball.com. Powerball tickets are available in 45 states as well as Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
