President Donald J. Trump recently announced the kickoff of America250 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Following this announcement, Andy Gipson, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, shared his enthusiasm for the event. Gipson said, "We were thrilled to learn about President Donald J. Trump’s vision for the Great American Fair in conjunction with the year-long celebration of America250."

Gipson highlighted plans for the 2025 Mississippi State Fair, scheduled from October 2-13, which will be themed in red, white, and blue to honor America's 250th anniversary. He extended an invitation to all Mississippians to participate in what he described as a grand celebration.

"I know Mississippians’ love for America, and I believe Mississippi will host the most patriotic State Fair in America," Gipson said. The fair's finale will feature a special concert by Lee Greenwood on October 13.

Further details about the event will be released soon. In the meantime, Gipson encouraged people to visit www.msstatefair.com for more information on how to participate in this historic celebration at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds.

Gipson concluded with well wishes for Independence Day: "We wish everyone a Happy Independence Day as we join in celebration of America’s birth and Freedom!"
