Michael Rogers recently hosted Kalyan Rachakonda, owner of Transworld Business Advisors of Sterling Heights, on the SBAM Weekly Podcast. Rachakonda, a VIP member of the Small Business Association of Michigan, discussed strategies for selling or buying a business.

Rachakonda highlighted that his firm specializes in helping business owners sell their businesses confidentially and at optimal valuations while also assisting buyers. Despite economic uncertainties, he noted that deals are still occurring and financing options such as SBA loans and seller financing remain available, though lenders may exercise more selectivity.

For those planning to sell their business, Rachakonda advised that preparation should begin several years in advance—ideally three years—to ensure maximum returns and a smooth process.
