A Michigan Lottery player has claimed the Lotto 47 jackpot, becoming a millionaire. The winning ticket matched the numbers 13, 25, 30, 35, 38, and 46, drawing a $5.46 million prize. The ticket was purchased at a Speedway gas station on South Westnedge Avenue in Kalamazoo.
"Winning a $5.46 million jackpot on a $1 ticket is an incredible return on investment!" expressed Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. "This big win is the second time in 2025 a lucky Michigander has become a millionaire thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Lotto 47 game."
Earlier this year, in January, another player secured a $1.3 million Lotto 47 jackpot with a ticket bought at Mac’s II Inc. in Taylor.
The most recent winner should reach out to the Lottery’s Player Relations division to arrange the collection of their prize. Each ticket for Lotto 47 costs $1, allowing participants to select six numbers from one to 47, with the jackpot starting at $1 million, growing until won. Options for increased play, including Double Play and EZMatch, are available for an extra $1 per play. Drawings are held twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
