The NMU men's alpine team secured a third-place finish at the USCSA National Championship in Bend, Oregon, showcasing strong performances from its athletes. Aaron Grzelak led the team with a bronze medal win and a first-team All-America honor. His total time was 1:24.37, marked by the second-fastest run one time of 41.46 and the fifth-fastest run two time of 42.91.

The Wildcats collectively achieved a combined time of 4:19.50, trailing behind Rocky Mountain College at 4:14.30 and Babson College at 4:16.63.

Kyan Hopke also had a notable performance, finishing sixth with a time of 1:24.81, earning him a second-team All-America honor. He was fifth after his first run and posted the seventh-fastest second run.

Andrew Truman and Reed Heathman finished closely in times of 1:30.33 and 1:30.85 respectively, placing them in 23rd and 28th positions overall.

Anthony Petkov overcame an initial setback during his first run to improve significantly in his second run, ending with a total time of 1:42.30.

Grzelak's opening run was strong as he posted the fastest initial time before securing his podium position with subsequent runs.

Heathman made an impressive start but eventually finished in the top thirty after both runs were completed.

Hopke aimed for a podium spot during his second run but ultimately secured sixth place overall.

Truman improved his standing significantly during his second run to secure a top-25 finish.

Petkov concluded the team's efforts with an exciting final run that moved him up several positions from his earlier standing.
