The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the Academic All-District volleyball teams, recognizing three student-athletes from the Wildcats. These athletes will be considered for the CSC Academic All-America ballots.

The honored students are Meghan Meyer, Jacqueline Smith, and Lauren Van Remortel. Meyer is a redshirt junior with a 4.0 GPA in Secondary Education Mathematics. Smith, also a redshirt junior, maintains a 3.94 GPA in Elementary Special Education. Senior Lauren Van Remortel holds a 3.87 GPA in the same field of study.

Academic All-District honorees are eligible for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. The announcement of first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will occur in the coming weeks.

The Academic All-America program acknowledges college student-athletes who excel both athletically and academically. Since its establishment in 1952 by College Sports Communicators (CSC), it has become the longest-running award recognizing success in both areas across all NCAA levels, NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian institutions.
